Lazy-Ass Success – If There’s No Will, Is There A Way?

“Yeah, I am lazy. There’s no doubt about that.” — Usain Bolt

If you’re lazy and you know it… What’s the use? You can’t even be bothered to clap your hands, can you?

Since you can’t even do that, how do you succeed?

Well, here’s the lazy-ass answer.

Attach yourself and your strengths to someone who actually does things. I’m sure there’s someone out there who’s in need of your skills and talents.

Let’s say there’s a brilliant woman out there, doing fantastic work, but she’s just very shy and quiet.

You’re more outgoing and willing to schmooze, you contribute a little to the work, and put what’s 99% her accomplishment in front of the right eyeballs.

Can’t even wait, can ya? Lazy-ass bastard.

Well, there’s a match made in heaven for you, and probably hell for her.

If you can find a way to contribute just enough to her work and enable her success, then you’re both winners and both of you deserve credit.

Granted, you’re still a lazy-ass bastard. But still, a lazy-ass bastard who’s successful.

Check the video at the bottom for what John Cleese has to say about his collaboration with Graham Chapman. In case it doesn’t start at the right time, it’s starts at 51 minutes 57 seconds.

It was mainly Cleese who wrote the material, yet Chapman did contribute something of value.
